Clint Atherton is the General Manager of PGA West Fairways Association since February 2020. Clint first began working with common interest developments while employed by an Orange County real estate developer in 2001. He later moved on to become an onsite community manager in Huntington Beach and served as a volunteer for the Community Association Institute (CAI) Orange County chapter, where he was elected to its Board of Directors. While managing in Huntington Beach, Clint was named by the CAI Orange County Chapter as Large Scale Manager of the Year in 2012. In 2013 Clint moved to the Coachella Valley to become a General Manager of a large scale community where he oversaw both the club and HOA operations. Clint has since joined the CAI Coachella Valley Chapter and serves on their Legislative Support Committee, is the delegate to the California Legislative Action Committee and was named the CAI Coachella Valley Chapter Onsite Manager of the Year for 2017. In addition, Clint serves on the Board for the Community Managers International Association which focuses on providing large scale managers with superior professional education and is also a member of the Club Managers Association of America.
In his role as General Manager for PGA WEST Fairways, Clint works closely and cooperatively with the Board of Directors and its committees to ensure that the vision of the community is communicated to its homeowners and implemented accordingly. Clint’s primary focus in his last two roles as a general manger have focused on short and long term planning, specifically helping to implement a strategic plan and the creation of the association’s vision and mission statements. This along with providing customer service with direct interaction and communication with the homeowners are elements of community management that he very much enjoys.
When not working or volunteering for work related organizations, Clint enjoys spending time with his wife Stacy and their 4 rescue animals (3 dogs and 1 cat), traveling to see his two grandchildren and playing tennis and golf.

Cheryl Laughrey is the Assistant General Manager for the PGA West Fairways Association. She currently provides support to the PGA West Fairways General Manager, Board of Directors, Committees and Homeowners.
Cheryl has been in the Community Management field since 2016. She previously worked as the onsite Senior Administrative Assistant to the General Manager in a 55 plus community of 498 homes, golf course and several other amenities. She acted as the HOA liaison to both the Architectural Committee and Compliance Committee.
Cheryl brings to PGA West Fairways her exceptional customer service skills. She is a motivated professional with strength in managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining quality customer relations.
Cheryl received her Certified Community Association Manager designation in 2018 from the California Association of Community Managers. In 2018, she obtained her Notary Public Commission. In 2019, she became a member of PIHRA, the Professionals in Human Resources Association. Cheryl looks forward to continuing her education in Community Management as well as Human Resources.
In her free time, Cheryl enjoys cooking and relaxing pool side with her husband and family. She especially enjoys playing with her very energetic two-year-old granddaughter, Addison.
Executive Assistant – PGA WEST Fairways
Michelle Reese is relatively new to the Community Management industry. Michelle has worked as the Assistant to the General Manager of a luxury high rise condominium in Los Angeles, and as an Assistant Manager for a high profile on-site midrise condominium located in Hollywood.
Michelle decided to return to the La Quinta area after commuting back and forth for over a year. She joined the Fairways Team in January 2016.
Michelle brings her great attention to detail, organizational skills, and high level of customer service to the team by providing assistance to the Fairways Management Team, Board of Directors, District Delegates, and the homeowners.
